Higher solderability and reflectivity than MBB round ribbons, resulting in significant optical gain in the module, 0.3% improvement over conventional multi-grid products, and reduced cell occlusion and debris during welding. Suitable for use with automatic string welders, the interconnecting ribbon is welded to the main grid line of the cell and is used to connect the solar cells, collect and transmit the solar cell current.
Designed for use with automatic string welders, the interconnecting ribbon is welded to the main grid line of the cell, efficiently collecting and transmitting solar cell current. The backside ribbon, with a thickness of ≤ 0.15mm, is thinner than round wire strips, allowing for highly reliable micro interconnection of cells.
This advanced ribbon provides greater stability than round wires and can be welded continuously without flattening, reducing back deflection and minimizing hidden cracks in the cells.
